Episode 4 - Raaaaaammmm

At present…

    Ram was sitting under a tree with his bike parked nearby, his hands were holding his mobile, the photo which he showed Zee a year ago filled the screen. The morning breeze was caressing his messy hair. He didn’t have a haircut for months as the entire world was struggling under the roof.

    ‘I am your happiness,’ the words told by her were circling around his ears. His eyes glowed in pain and emotion, but at the end of his eyes, there was a revelation. It showed that he was trying to come out of her thoughts.

    He touched the photo which revealed a menu that had options to share, edit and delete. He decided to erase off her from his mind, he deleted that photo. He shut his phone dead and stood up. His suffocation somehow came to an end and the rising sun kissed his face with hope, happiness, and a warm smile that was missing in his face for a long time.

    He was looking at the emerging sun’s beauty from the queen of hills. He felt a lot better, happier than before, his eyes now started glittering out of happiness.

    Out of blue, he heard a voice, a strange voice of an old man. He turned around to check who it was. But there was none around him. He could not understand what the voice was telling him. It was chanting inside his head.

    ‘Raaaammm…’ the voice uttered eventually.

    ‘Who are you?’ he asked. His face and mind were filled with confusion and fear. His heartbeat started rising.

    ‘Raaaaaaaammmmmm…’ the voice again uttered.

    ‘I am hallucinating,’ he said aloud and closed his ears tight.

    ‘Raaaaammmmmm, closing your eyes will do nothing. I am inside your head.’ The voice whispered.

    ‘What do you want?’ he asked.

    ‘I need you, your happiness, your smile,’ said the voice. This time, it came from his back, not inside his head.

    When he turned back, he saw…

After clicking the publish button on the interface, she desperately wanted to close her laptop and doze off. But it was then, she noticed something strange on her screen. It was Instagram with a red dot on top of it. She clicked to open it. There was a message from someone called Javier.       ‘She’s coming.’      ‘7 nights and 6 days,' was the message from that person. She was too tired to think about that message. She just closed the lid of the laptop and dozed off to sleep.  The next morning,      The clock was running past eight and she was still sailing deep in sleep. It was then, her mobile started ringing so loud as it used to ring all the time. After a few rings, she realised it and woke up to answer that call. It was Bharath.      ‘What’s the matter? Let me sleep for some time,’ she said as soon as she answered the call.
